During every show, fans enjoy Buck's amazing performance on five different instruments. Audiences are swept away with the extraordinary sounds that Buck can produce out of a banjo. In fact, Buck Trent invented the electric banjo. Along with the banjo, Buck performs on a magnificent guitar given to him by Chet Atkins. His hauntingly beautiful "Beautiful Dreamer", "Somewhere My Love", and others are dramatic examples of Buck's versatility.
Buck also keeps his visitors in stitches with his down-home humor and mischievous take on life.
Along with Buck's premiere picking and hilarious humor, audiences enjoy his all-star cast.
Buck's multi-talented cast delivers non-stop action with bluegrass, gospel, country, and plenty of laughs. From the fiddlin' duo of Bruce Hoffman and Melody Hart to the Yakety Sax of Jonathan Black to the sensational country sounds of featured vocalists Kenny Parrott and Melody Hart, it's hand-clap'n, toe-tap'n fun! As the beat goes on with Rob Blackwood and Dave Clark, the powerful pickin' just gets better with mandolins, steel guitars, and Buck's legendary Banjo Tunes, Guitar Strummin', and Knee-Slap'n Comedy!
Bruce Hoffman joins the first lady of fiddlin' Miss Melody Hart to perform some incredible feats of fiddle playing.
Another treat occurs when Buck, Melody, & Bruce team up to perform a melody of favorites including "Rolling In My Sweet Baby's Arms", "Blue Moon Of Kentucky", and more, using the mandolin, fiddles, and banjos, as well as vocals. And to top it off Buck on Banjo, along with Kenny on guitar, duels the fiddlin' duo!
Reminiscent of the Porter and Dolly duets, Buck joins featured female vocalist, Melody, for their own duets ranging from a lively "No Help Wanted" to "Forty Miles From Poplar Bluff".
Melody also delivers some soulful solos of her own such as "Rose Garden". And along with singing and playing the fiddle, Melody joins Buck, Jonathan, and Bruce for an exciting mandolin moment when all 4 musicians perform on their mandolins.
Featured vocalist (and lead guitar), Kenny Parrott, sings songs by country greats like Johnny Cash, Jim Reeves, Marty Robbins, and others. Along with emceeing the show, Kenny keeps Buck rolling with his dry humor and helpful suggestions.
Piano man Jonathan Black joins Buck for a great sax moment, while bass player David Lee Clark and drummer Robby Blackwood keep the beat and add a few hilarious moments of their own. Bruce even takes a spin on the steel guitar.
